recovery of malala

The Interior Minister while speaking to a US news channel said Malala’s attackers were identified within 24 hours.

Malik added that Malala and her parents could stay in the UK as long as need be and she would be provided fool proof security upon her return to Pakistan.

When asked about the possibility of a military operation in North Waziristan, Malik replied that a military operation was not the solution to the problem.

In a separate interview to Geo News, the Interior Minister spoke of how mobile SIMs had become a dangerous weapons.

Malik said mobile phones were used in 80 percent of bomb blasts in the country.

Victoria Beckham shows off spring 2013 collection, New York Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham shows off spring 2013 collection, New York Fashion Week:

Designer Victoria Beckham poses on the runway at the Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at New York Public Library on September 9, 2012 in New York City.

Anyone still doubting the respect the Victoria Beckham name commands in the fashion industry would have been silenced by the scene at the New York Public Library on Sunday morning.

At fashion week, a designer's status can be calculated before their show has even begun, by who is there and how dressed up the audience are. This show commanded a royal flush of the queens of modern fashion – Anna Wintour, Anna dello Russo, Natalie Massenet, Harper Beckham – and almost the entire row wore five-inch spiked heels.

She’s one of the biggest draws on the calendar of seasonal previews, but there’s no frenzy of paparazzi photographers. (Husband David Beckham, however, did take some photos from his seat.)
The music is loud enough to be heard, but it’s far from thumping. Beckham gives the crowd a brief bow, but doesn’t linger.

And she’s gracious to her backstage well-wishers, but there’s a time limit.

Looking pretty stylish himself in a brown suit, David Beckham was there to catch his wife’s much-anticipated collection. Joining Becks were Kate Moss’ ex Jefferson Hack and tennis star Maria Sharapova, but overall, the star power was relatively subdued this morning, considering Mrs. Becks counts Hollywood heavyweights like Katie Holmes among her closest friends.

The element of surprise has been a part of the Victoria Beckham label from the start. She surprised the industry first by announcing she was becoming a designer, surprised it again with a debut that garnered raves and then surprised it yet again by keeping pace as the level of expectation rose each season. Having now reached a point where the quality of her clothes is not news in itself, she must now find new ways to pique interest each season.

Ms. Beckham hit a home home, embracing a sporty feel centered on minimalistic black and white pieces infused with bold pops of red for her spring collection.

While Beckham continued her strong focus on tailoring, she took a more dare we say, laidback approach this season, with looser silhouettes joining her signature body-skimming silhouettes.

Flirty skirts that looked like they could go from the runway to the tennis courts and were even paired with (gasp!) flats seemed made for Sharapova, who sat front row. But there were also plenty of styles for the red carpet, with Beckham seeming to draw inspiration from the literary influence of the season, 50 Shades of Grey, with sexy bondage-inspired styles and sheer cutouts adding subtle sex appeal.

That's a wrap Emma Watson

Perks ... Emma Watson

That's a wrap Emma Watson:

Emma Watson is a really good actress – she can do all the top moves

Last week she was snapped strutting her stuff in New York ahead of her appearance on the telly on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Then she showed the full range of her talents by sitting pretty at the Toronto International Film Festival in a wrap-like top and skirt.

The Harry Potter star was in Canada to promote her latest film, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

As long as she keeps on showing off legs like that and wearing that shocking pink lipstick there is no danger of Emma ever being labellled a wallflower in real life. Source: thesun

Prince Harry in Afghanistan for second tour of duty

Prince Harry in Afghanistan for second tour of duty
Prince Harry arrived in Afghanistan on Friday on a four-month military deployment in his role as an Apache helicopter pilot, Britain's Ministry of Defense said.
Harry, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and third in line to the British throne, is a captain in Britain's Army Air Corps.
Looking relaxed if slightly tired, Harry gave a thumbs-up Friday after a long journey on a troop carrier flight from England to Britain's Camp Bastion, a sprawling desert base near the southern Afghan town of Lashkar Gah.
Capt. Harry Wales, as he is known in the military, wore his combat uniform and joined his 100-strong unit – the 662 Squadron, 3 Regiment Army Air Corps.
As part of the Apache's two-man crew, Harry will be both a co-pilot and the gunner responsible for firing the Apache's wing-mounted aerial rockets, Hellfire laser-guided missiles and 30mm machine gun.
The Ministry of Defence said his second tour of duty “has been long planned and the threat to him and others around him thoroughly assessed”. “Any risk posed by Captain Wales’s deployment, based on capability, opportunity and intent of the insurgency, has been, and will continue to be, assessed and has informed the decision to deploy him.” Harry completed his training as a pilot of the powerful Apache attack helicopters in February and was posted to an air assault brigade to gain further flying experience and to operate the aircraft on a number of exercises.
The prince, the youngest of the two sons of the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, had appeared to have shaken off his label of the “playboy prince” when he visited the Caribbean earlier this year and charmed his hosts. But a game of strip billiards and a ‘race’ against Olympic swimming star Ryan Lochte in Las Vegas in August put him back on the front pages for all the wrong reasons.
He made light of the incident when he appeared at a children’s charity awards event in London on Monday, telling the audience he was “never one to be shy in coming forward”.
Harry qualified to fly an Apache helicopter in combat early this year, after doing some of his training over the deserts of Arizona and Nevada. He won an award as the best co-pilot gunner in his peer group during training.
The Camp Bastion complex, near the large U.S. Camp Leatherneck, is one of the busiest airfields in the world, with more than 28,000 people working on site, according to the UK Ministry of Defense.
While stationed there, Prince Harry will be part of the Joint Aviation Group, which provides support to the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force and Afghan forces in the region.
