As opposed to Madhavi’s personality of a doctor in the 1980 film Agneepath by Mukul Anand, the new Agneepath by manager Karan Malhotra has Priyanka Chopra enjoying a different personality. She performs a Maharastrian young lady.
“The best element about Kaali (her personality in the film) is that she is Vijay's energy. She is the heart, enjoyment and naughtiness in the film... So to make, I had to just adhere to Karan,” Priyanka said at the introduction of the second look of the film. The part of Vijay in the film is performed by Hrithik Roshan.
The 29-year-old celebrity has in the past performed a Maharashtrian personality in the last season's film Kaminey.
“I was enjoying a Maharashtrian young lady for the second time. When Karan Malhotra and I mentioned the film, we were very clear that we have to try to keep this personality as different as possible from my personality of Sweety in 'Kaminey' because the individualities of both the women are different.
“Karan was very clear-minded about Kaali's personality. So, it was very possible for me,” said Priyanka who is awaiting videos like Barfee, Teri Meri Kahaani and Krrish 3 as well in 2012
